Our planned education pathway helps older adults and their families understand Medicare terminology, identify information they need and prepare for conversations about coverage. Education should start with the person’s circumstances, priorities and questions.
Prepare for a benefits conversation
Keep a private list of your current coverage, doctors, prescriptions and questions. Ask about costs, provider networks, prescription coverage and enrollment timing. Do not upload Medicare numbers or personal records to this website.
Independent places to begin
Medicare.gov provides official program information. Your state’s SHIP can help with Medicare questions. TCF’s educational pathway is separate from insurance sales; this website does not enroll visitors in a health plan.
