A place for every person
Section 4.10 of our charter recognizes that different communities encounter different barriers to housing, health, education, financial opportunity and social support. Inclusive Community Outreach is our framework for responding with respect and purpose.
Who this outreach includes
The charter expressly includes LGBTQ+ individuals and families, older adults, veterans and military families, persons with disabilities, family caregivers, rural communities, low-income households, youth and young adults, and people experiencing housing or food insecurity or chronic illness.
Listen, connect and build
Outreach can take the form of education, community partnerships, resource navigation and targeted initiatives. The work begins with understanding the people and communities it is intended to serve.
